Hana Madness at Fulbright University Vietnam Conference

Speakers from all over the world will present their research and experiences in higher education, with opportunities to connect with future collaborators.  As Fulbright University is Vietnam’s first private non-profit liberal arts University, this conference is a manifestation of our institutional commitment to education and innovation.  Educators and administrators, curious members of the public, and any other interested parties are invited to join.
With me as one of the speakers for "Mental Health in Higher Education"
Will be held on April 20 & 21 at Fullbright University Vietnam.

Me, when I shared and presented my art & pratices as an artist and how it relates to mental health in Indonesia.
With some of the participants of my class.
With Mr. Aaron Anderson and his colleague as lecturers at Fullbright University.

Beside being a speaker, I also got a chance to share my pratices as an artist to all the literature students in there. The professor who invited me said "It's such a rare moment to some of them practicing art like this."

I am so happy because my journey in art and mental health has brought me to meet with a lot of brilliant people including from academical thing like this.

Acrylic and marker on Converse.
I will present this pair of shoes to my beloved sister @trifunny, who for most of her life has never been tired of supporting me. She was there in my darkest moments. When I had no place to go, she was there seeing me cry, hearing me chide and accompanying me in times of fear. I'm so thankful that you were able to be one of the witnesses how I could be at this point. Please wear these shoes wherever you go... I love you no matter what! ðŸ’™ðŸŒ¸

Art and Mental Health Discussion in Poso, Sulawesi

During "In Chains" screening
With all the participants of my class "Art and Mental Health".

50 female activists and artworkers from different backgounds all over Indonesia gathered in Poso, Central Sulawesi to hold "unconference conference" hosted by PeretasID. I got a chance to hold a class with the topic "Art & Mental Health", opened by screening of my latest video project "In Chains" and followed by sharing session about my journey as well as stories from some of the participants.

So far, that was the best In chains screening and discussion in my entire life. As we finally found a warm and safe place to share and to hear extraordinary stories that have happended in our life which made us as strong as we are right now!

Gonna miss that moment a lot!
